Job Title: Program Director- Insurance
Years of Experience: 15-20 years
Location: Dubai
Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Director to lead large-scale, global projects for our insurance clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a deep understanding of the insurance domain, and a proven record of managing complex, multi-location engagements within the IT services/product industry.
What will you do?
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for large, global insurance accounts, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients across regions, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive project governance, risk management, and change control processes to maintain operational excellence.
- Oversee cross-functional project teams across geographies, ensuring collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage P&L ownership, project budgets, resource allocation, and contract deliverables.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to ensure client retention and business growth.
- Ensure compliance with global delivery frameworks, standards, and security protocols.
- Mentor and guide project managers and leads to enhance team performance and leadership capability.
What skills required?
- 15–20 years of total experience, with at least 10+ years in project/program management roles.
- Strong background in IT services delivery and managing large-scale transformation or integration projects.
- Mandatory domain experience in Insurance (Life, P&C, Health, or Reinsurance).
- Proven experience in managing US, Europe and Middle East based customers, with an understanding of global delivery models.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, governance, and client communication at CXO level.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
