Product Analyst - Insurance

About the Job:

This role is responsible for supporting the Product owner in providing subject matter expertise while defining the roadmap and product vision. As a member of an agile team, the Product Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the problems and needs, subsequently translating them into business requirements and technical solutions.

  • Support the Product owner and Development teams with defining the roadmap, product vision and determining / clarifying user requirements
  • Lead workshops to gather requirements to aid in problem-solving for the business stakeholders, and translate the needs into business requirements and technical solutions
  • Deliver gap analysis against proposed technologies
  • Partner with developers and design teams to clarify business requirements
  • Take ownership of project review and release documents
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track and ensure feedback progress to any new release
  • Create, manage and prioritize the product backlog, translate client needs into deliverable features through writing and refining epics and stories
  • Ensure healthy backlog of ‘ready’ stories for the teams
  • Support the team to answer queries as product is being developed, view demos and evaluate delivered stories
  • Evaluate product progress at each iteration and review work completed by the team as meeting business outcome needs
  • With support of the Product owner, align the necessary stakeholders to keep the momentum of progress
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the IT/Software industry with Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc.)
  • Capable of being empowered, and possess the courage to make decisions on key aspects of the design
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and collaborative work ethics
  • Ability to work in complex cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams to jointly deliver transformational outcomes
  • Deep domain knowledge with good appreciation of the various functions that comprise the customer lifecycle
  • Understand trends and emerging technologies with proven experience and understanding of the IT change is desired but not essential
  • Highly innovative and influential, able to find creative solutions to problems and adapt to new challenges
  • Act with integrity, confidence and accountability at all times
  • Deal assertively with all levels of management
  • English fluency required; Thai or Vietnamese fluency preferred
  • International travel ~10%
