Oracle PLSQL Developer
About the Job:
The candidate will work with BU team members to develop program units that integrate seamlessly into the overall software system.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functional projects as assigned and interact with all areas of the organization to achieve timely results
- Research, construct, develop, and test complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for new reports
- Communicate with end users on report or environment issues
- Develop and test new functionality or support existing applications
- Find solutions for issues, debugging related to configuration, code setup, identity issues and error handling
- Use structured coding methodology and “code once use many times” methodology so that the developed code is reusable
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong experience with Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages, views
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, ASP, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, XML
- Experience with XML, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix Scripting
- Proven skills using RDBMS systems such as Oracle & SQL Server
