Oracle BPM Developer

About the Job:

Responsible for the technical design and development of complex workflow   solutions and backend service integrations on OSB. The candidate will serve as a technical expert on solutions developed on Oracle BPM and OSB. The role requires broad and deep technical knowledge on Oracle BPM, OSB and Insurance processes. It also requires working closely with the Technical Lead, Project Manager,  Scrum Master, Scrum team members, Product Managers as well as other business and technical stakeholders to maintain alignment of the Project deliverables.

  • Design, develop and test process automation in Oracle BPM, OSB and Oracle BRMS to deliver complex business requirements
  • Collaborate with business analysts and business users to analyse business requirements and define technical project scope and assumptions for BPM implementations
  • Decompose requirements into stories and tasks
  • Create technical specifications, test execution plan and test cases to cover end-to-end functionality
  • Engage with clients, prospects and business partners to understand workflows and client needs and transform those requirements into an implemented automated business processes
  • Analyse business processes and document current and recommended future ones
  • Work closely with business and technology partners to ensure a clear translation from business to systems requirements
  • Facilitate process design sessions
  • 4-7 years of experience in design and development of complex solutions on Oracle BPM, OSB and Oracle BRMS
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills with the ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile/Lean methodologies (experience working in a rapid prototyping environment is a plus)
  • Proven experience is delivering solutions for Insurance domain
  • Ability to work with multiple project delivery teams across  business units and external clients
  • Experience with full software development life cycle
  • Highly motivated, disciplined and self-directed with a commitment to excellence
  • Mandatory work experience within Agile practices as a member of a multi-discipline team
  • Hands-on experience with business process improvements or business process re-engineering projects
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
