DevOps Engineer
About the Job:
- Design, setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines to maximize SDLC efficiency
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
- Manage DevOps initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the DevOps engineers of different vendors
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
- Improve automation of the deployment process and CI/CD pipeline using DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with broader engineering team on new features rollout
- Understand and meet the scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of the service and technology stack
- Liaise closely with both the development and operational teams
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a software development role
- At least 3 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
- Hands on experience on using Cloud Formation Template (CFT), Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, AWS ECS & EC2 is a must
- Familiar with CI/CD and defining build/test/deploy pipelines in code
- Experience in cloud (AWS) and infrastructure as code
- Experience in continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English
